Low flow plumbing fittings

All toilet and urinal flushing fixtures, taps, showerheads and other plumbing fixtures and fittings have been selected with lower flow rates to achieve a high level of water efficiency.

One of the first steps to optimise water efficiency in a building is to use low-flow fixtures and water-efficient appliances. These measures can reduce the water consumption and runoff of the building, and increase the potential for rainwater infiltration, storage and reuse.

The HPI d-school Building is fitted with sanitary fittings with lower flow rates than typical commercial fittings benchmarks.
