Johannes Wedenig has extensive experience in development cooperation in leadership positions. He has a proven track record of thinking differently and innovating. He believes that traditional development organizations must reinvent themselves to stay relevant. Recent examples were the opening of the first humanitarian drone testing corridor in Africa and the foundation of the African Drone and Data Academy in Malawi.
He has now embarked on a design journey with young people in Africa that gave birth to “Yoma”, a youth centric market place and partnership ecosystem that matches young people’s aspirations with opportunities to make an impact, grow their talent and enhance their livelihoods.
