Dr Phumzile Mmope is a leadership coach, consultant, and part-time lecturer at Stellenbosch Business School. She believes Ubuntu-infused leadership is a powerful way to frame the leadership needed as we move into new ways of co-creation and innovation in increasingly culturally diverse contexts. She holds a PhD in Communication Studies from the North-West University focusing on intercultural communication competence in facilitating strategic alignment and employee engagement in culturally diverse and inclusive workplaces. Phumzile became a coach and consultant following a rewarding 20-year career leading and working with high-performing, award-winning, multicultural, and multilingual teams.
