Prototyping is a mindset, not a skill:

Learn to think with your hands and move ideas forward through action.

From thought to action

Build rough, learn fast - discover more by making than by planning.

Creativity is a muscle:

Prototyping gives you the tools to flex it — on any idea, in any situation, at any stage.

What is the Everyday Designer: Making Ideas Tangible Through Action & Experimentation

Making Ideas Tangible is an intentionally exploratory, practice-oriented experience focused on strengthening how participants bring ideas to life. Using structured prototyping methods and hands-on experimentation, you'll practice moving from early concepts towards testable, tangible outcomes, without needing polished results on the day.

What you’ll experience

  • Structured prototyping processes to build, test and refine ideas accessible, low-cost materials
  • Frequent micro-learning moments that build creative confidence through making rather than talking.
  • Experimentation with multiple low-fidelity formats, physical models, storyboards, role-play scenarios
  • Collaborative, hands-on work that generates real feedback and drives iteration.
